CCW—Beyond the basics
Course information
To take this class, you must have your Concealed Carry Permit, or you must have taken the NRA Basic Pistol course. You don't need to have taken the course from us, but if you did, we offer a discount to returning students.
This course is designed for the beginner as well as the experienced handgun shooter. We will teach you to safely draw from a concealed holster and accurately shoot a controlled pair of rounds at a threat target, 7-10 yards away.
The curriculum includes the 5-step draw from concealment, shooting on the move, shooting at multiple targets, shooting fundamentals, dry practice, trigger control, flash sight picture and range safety. If you carry a concealed handgun, this class is for you.
Equipment rentals are available on a first come basis — see the equipment page for requirements and the registration page for rentals. Class sizes are limited to 16 students.
