CCW—Beyond the basics
Equipment required
- Semi Automatic or Revolver .32 or higher caliper (9mm or .38 SPL preferred)
- 250 rounds of factory ammunition
- Strong Side Holster (no hip or drop holsters permitted) (Kydex, Carbon Fiber or Leather preferred)
- Magazine Pouch (1 min) or Double Speed-loader pouch
- Kydex, Carbon Fiber or Leather preferred
- 2 10-round magazines (min) or 3 7+ round magazines (min)
- 2 speed loaders for revolvers
- Sturdy belt to hold holster and magazine pouches
- Hearing protection (ear plugs provided)
- Eye protection (safety glasses available for sale)
- Hat or Ball Cap
- Tight fitting closed front shirt (to keep hot brass away from skin)
- Open front cover garment such as a button down shirt, vest or light jacket
- Comfortable closed toe shoes or boots (tennis shoes or hiking boots)
- Bottled Drinks and cooler (water or Gatorade preferred)
